I've always been fascinated by the many ways our physical, mental, emotional, social, spiritual, and financial well-being work together to shape our health. Growing up in a family with roots in Central America and deep cultural ties throughout the West Indies, I was surrounded by stories of resilience, resourcefulness, and the remarkable botanicals that generations relied upon for nourishment, healing, and self-care. Combined with a home filled with books and a natural curiosity to understand why, those early experiences planted the seeds for what would eventually become Farm House Fable. My journey began in Biology before leading me to Health and Nutrition Science, where I developed a strong understanding of the human body in both wellness and disease. I later earned a graduate degree in Health Education and Promotion, believing that knowledge empowers people to make lasting, healthy choices. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of serving people across nearly every stage of life—from children and teenagers to expectant mothers, older adults, and individuals facing chronic illness. My work has included community health education, public health, food safety, nutrition counseling, maternal and child health, and disease prevention. Each experience reinforced one simple truth: wellness is never just about one thing. It is shaped by the choices we make every day and by the environments in which we live, work, and grow. My desire to better understand wellness eventually led me beyond nutrition into holistic health and cosmetic product formulation. I became a Certified Holistic Nutritionist and studied the science and artistry behind creating safe, effective, and thoughtfully crafted products. I wanted to understand not only what we put into our bodies, but also what we put on them—and how traditional botanical wisdom and modern science can work together to support healthy living. As a wife and mother of four boys, that passion became deeply personal. I wanted to bring everything I had learned into my own home and create products I could feel good about sharing with my family. What began as a personal journey soon became a calling to serve others. Farm House Fable was born from the belief that wellness is a story we write every day. Inspired by the rich botanical heritage of the West Indies and grounded in evidence-based science, we thoughtfully craft products and educational resources that encourage intentional living and honor the connection between nature and well-being. Every ingredient is chosen with purpose. Every formula is created with care. And every story we share is an invitation to slow down, reconnect with nature, and embrace a healthier, more wholehearted way of living.
